Who's the stupid one: me or the Government?

I see the Government is happily building new homes to give to the soon to be ex-squatters. Each squatter gets a piece of land and a nice house. Only problem is, this is wherever the land is available, normally miles from anywhere like Cosmo City. I know that originally you got your free house, sold it in December and used the R5000 or so for a nice holiday. Then returned to live in your shack again, never to qualify for another free house. The government has that one covered apparently, and has devised a way ro stop you selling. That's great. However, you now sit in your free house using free electricity and free water, but you can't afford food or transport to town, which is miles away, to find a job, training, or trade. Surely it would have been better to give a free piece of land, no house, and then free transport too, instead of a house. There's no doubt everyone will build a house themselves, since the major cost is labour. Spare time is not what we're short of. Transport is the problem - free transport would put everyone in business. We would all be able to get around and do things. We would be able to get to where the food is free, get to where the jobs are, go to the places which are good for trading. Surely, surely giving free houses is simply stupid. Since we can't sell the house, we'll have to sell the window frames for food and transport instead.
